Primary Rhinoplasty This is a 24 year old male patient with a history of an old nasal trauma which left him with a deviated nose and a total nasal obstruction on the right side. Dr. Foda performed a septoplasty to correct the right-sided septal deviation together with osteotomies (cuts in nasal bones) to straighten the nose. Additionally, the nasal tip was rotated upwards to shorten the nose.
Primary Rhinoplasty This is a 21-year old male patient with a history of trauma to the nose that left him with a severe nasal deviation and total nasal obstruction on the left side. Dr. Foda performed a one-stage septorhinoplasty to correct the deviation of the nasal septum as well as the external nose. Additional maneuvers included hump reduction and correction of nostril asymmetry.
Primary Rhinoplasty This is a 22 year old female who presented for rhinoplasty with a large hump, droopy overprojected tip, right tip deflection, and wide nasal base. Dr. Foda performed a rhinoplasty on the patient which included lowering of the dorsal hump, repositioning of the tip upward and backward using the lateral crural overlay technique, and narrowing of the wide nasal base using the boomerang base reduction technique.
Primary Rhinoplasty This is an 18 years old patient with a history of an old nasal trauma. The patient is concerned about his nasal deviation and his dorsal hump. On examination, the nose shows a bony deviation to the left (the right nasal bone displaced inwards and the left nasal bone displaced outwards), together with a large bonycartilaginous hump. Dr. Foda performed a rhinoplasty which included bilateral osteotomies (cuts in nasal bones) to bring back the bones to a more central position. Additionally, the dorsal hump was removed.
Primary Rhinoplasty This is a 36 year old female patient; her main complaints were difficulty in breathing and asymmetry of the nostrils (external nasal apertures). On examination, the external nose is deviated to the right and the caudal septum is dislocated and prolapsed in the left nostril leading to significant narrowing of that nostril. Dr. Foda performed a septoplasty to correct her nasal septum deviation and combined that with a rhinoplasty to straighten the external nose, lower the nasal dorsum, deproject the tip, and improve the symmetry between both nostrils.
Primary Rhinoplasty This is a 32 year old male patient who presented with difficulty in breathing from both sides and an interest to change the shape of his nose. On examination, the patient had deviated nasal septum with a dorsal deviation to the right and a caudal deviation to the left leading to a narrower nostril on that side. Externally, he had a right-sided external nasal deviation and a large nose with a high dorsum, overprojected tip, and a hanging columella (the part between both nostrils). Dr. Foda performed a septorhinoplasty to correct the nasal septum deviations, straighten the external nose, lower the nasal dorsum, and decrease the tip projection and columellar show.
Primary Rhinoplasty This is a 19 year old female patient who came for rhinoplasty asking for a straighter and smaller nose. On examination the nasal septum and the cartilaginous part of the external nose (the lower two-thirds of the nose) were found to be severely deviated to the right side. Dr. Foda performed a major septoplasty to correct her deviated nasal septum and at the same time performed a reduction rhinoplasty by lowering the dorsal hump and decreasing the nasal tip projection.
Primary Rhinoplasty This is a 28 year old female patient; her main complaints were difficulty in breathing from the right side and the desire to change the shape of her nose. On examination, the patient had a severe right-sided deviation of both the nasal septum and the external nose. Dr. Foda performed a septorhinoplasty to correct her nasal septum deviation and, at the same time, to lower her bonycartilaginous hump, correct her external nasal deviation, support her nasal tip, and give her a more central nasal base. Beside the improvement in the nasal appearance; the patient was able to breathe much better after surgery.
